Upon invitation by Prof. Rodney C. Ewing from Stanford University, François Diaz-Maurin joined the Third Reset of U.S. Nuclear Waste Management Strategy and Policy Meeting
on 9-10 March 2016, at the Center for International Security and Cooperation(CISAC) of Stanford University. The meeting focused on consent-based siting for deep geological repositories. The Reset initiative engages technical experts, government officials and members of the public in a series of focused discussions on the US Waste Management Strategy and Policy. The initiative is funded by the Freeman-Spogli Institute for International Studies and the Precourt Institute for Energy at Stanford.
