Camilo’s research interest is in the integration of tools for the management of Protected Areas for conservation biology and societal metabolism. He is presently working on the study of the societal metabolism of island ecosystems, with particular attention to biophysical issues of access to and distribution of tourism in Galapagos Archipelago. He holds a Bachelor degree in Biology and Environmental Studies, two MSc degrees in Marine Science and Ecological Economics and is presently a PhD candidate at ICTA-UAB.
