Cheddi Kiravu

Cheddi Kiravu, Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University of Botswana where he is also Director of the Clean Energy Research Centre, is at ICTA on a one-year sabbatical leave ending September 2016.  Cheddi is conducting research on "Scaling rural energy metabolism in Botswana" within the auspices of a joint collaborative research project,  "Participatory Integrated Assessment of Energy Systems to Promote Energy Access and Efficiency (PARTICIPIA)" funded by the European Development Fund (EDF) under the ACP-EU Co-operation Programme in Higher Education (EDULINK II) Research Grant, in which ICTA provides the research leadership in a team involving a total of 8 institutions: Three in Africa and five in Europe.
